Johann Vogel To Depart Blackburn Rovers - Report
The Swiss international midfielder may have to find himself a new employer...
Blackburn Rovers midfielder Johann Vogel could be on the lookout for a new football club if a report in the British tabloid The Sun is to be believed.
Apparently, the 94-times capped Switzerland international is frustrated at having featured for Rovers on only seven occasions since signing on a free transfer in March 2008.
"It would be better if he finds a club where he can enjoy his football again," Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce is quoted as saying.
Having started his career with Swiss club Grasshoppers, the 5ft 9in defensive midfielder moved to PSV Eindhoven in 1999 where he hugely impressed during a six-year spell.
However, subsequent transfers to Italian giants Milan and Spanish club Real Betis saw limited first-team chances before his move to Blackburn proved to hold a similar fate.
