Carlos Tevez's long-term future at Old Trafford has been in question for some time now, with Manchester United thus far failing to agree a fee with his owners.

Despite having played a key role in the Red Devils' Premier League and Champions League triumphs last season, the 24-year-old has played second fiddle to Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov during this campaign.

According to a report in the British tabloid the Daily Mirror, MSI, the owners of the Argentina international striker, have offered his services to Barcelona.

Apparently, La Blaugrana have been told that they can tie 'Apache' down to a five-year-contract at the end of the season in exchange for a fee in the region of €27 million (£25 million).

However, it is also claimed that Barca's arch-rivals Real Madrid are also eyeing the former Boca Juniors and Corinthians star and may well compete for his signature in the summer.
