Hull City To Sign Boa Morte, Kilbane
The Tigers look set to strengthen the left side of their midfield as the are linked with Kevin Kilbane and Luis Boa Morte...
Hull City are close to completing their first two signings of the January transfer window, according to reports in today's British broadsheets.
The Independent claims that the Tigers have agreed a fee of £2 million with cash-strapped West Ham United for the Portuguese international Luis Boa Morte.
Despite starting 40 of the 65 games he has featured in for the Hammers since moving to Upton Park from Fulham in 2007 for £5 million, the 31-year-old has not enjoyed the best football of his career with the East London club.
Meanwhile, the Guardian reports that Wigan Athletic's Kevin Kilbane is also set for a switch to the KC Stadium for a fee in the region of £1 million.
The Republic of Ireland international, who can play as either a left-back or left-winger as well as in the centre of midfield, has dropped down the pecking order at the JJB Stadium and is keen to move to gain regular first team football.
