Inter have announced on their official website that they have secured the services of Saphir Taider from Bologna in a co-ownership deal.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly paid €5.5 million for 50 per cent of the midfielder's registration, with the 21-year-old signing a four-year deal with Inter.
Head coach Walter Mazzarri was keen to add some fresh blood to his midfielder ahead of the start of the 2013-14 Serie A campaign and he has now gotten his desired reinforcement in Taider.
"What does Inter mean to me? A great team who have won everything. I’m happy," the Algeria international told Inter Channel after completing the move.
"I’m very happy to be here at Inter. Everyone knows this is a fantastic club. I’m overjoyed.
"I made a lot of sacrifices when I moved abroad as a youngster, so I can certainly say that hard work pays off. Now I’m happy to be here. It was one of my sporting ambitions. Now I have to work hard."
Taider is a product of the Grenoble youth academy and made the move to Serie A in 2011 when he joined Bologna.
He had since developed into a key player at Bologna, earning himself a transfer to Inter with his fine performances at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
