Zeman blasts Roma after 2-2 draw with Catania and wades into Conte debate

Roma boss Zdenek Zeman blasted his side's performance after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Catania on the opening day of the Serie A season, and added that Francesco Totti did not follow the tactical instructions given to him.
The Giallorossi trailed twice but goals from Pablo Osvaldo and Nicolas Lopez – the latter’s a 91st minute equaliser – spared the home side blushes.
"We were too slow, showed little aggression and we paid for it. We still have to work hard, and Totti and [Erik] Lamela can do better,” the Czech tactician told Repubblica.
"Totti was not playing in the position where he was told to play. He played too far away from the box. Still,he did things that nobody else is able to do.
"The result is right, but we also suffered from refereeing mistakes."
Zeman then went on to take another dig at Juventus coach Antonio Conte, who recently received a 10-month ban for his failure to report two instances of match-fixing during his spell in charge of Siena.
"If I were him, I'd suspend myself."
