The Italian tactician was happy with his team's performance against Pescara, but refused to get carried away with the result in his post-match press conference
Andrea Stramaccioni's labelled Inter's 3-0 win over Pescara 'the first step' as the Nerazzurri began the Serie A season in impressive fashion.
Goals from Wesley Sneijder, Diego Milito and Coutinho Inter to the top of the table and that result had additional gloss after arch-rivals Milan were beaten 1-0 by Sampdoria.
"We are happy, it is only the first step but we are happy," Stramaccioni remarked after the game.
"A great team that took the lead 2-0 at half-time on a difficult pitch is a sign of strength.
"It was a good start but it is a long season ahead and we need to keep our feet on the ground."
