Jovetic set to leave Fiorentina - report
The 22-year-old second striker is believed to be keen on moving to a bigger club after four years with at the Artemio Franchi, with Inter and Napoli reportedly interested
Stevan Jovetic is set to inform Fiorentina of his decision to quit the club this summer after four years with the Tuscan outfit, according to Il Corriere dello Sport. The Montenegrin international is said to be considering handing in a transfer request in the coming days, as Serie A rivals Inter and Napoli have reportedly shown an interest in landing the creative forward this summer.
However, the paper states that Fiorentina are to put a €30 million price tag over the head of the highly-rated Montenegrin, who scored 14 league goals in 2011-12 to ensure his side avoided relegation.
Bought from Partizan Belgrade for €8 million back in 2008, Jovetic has been a big hit in Florence, despite a cruciate ligament injury threatening to hamper his progress last year.
But Fiorentina's underachievement coupled with a lack of funds have seemingly persuaded the attacker to seek pastures new, hot on the heels of captain Riccardo Montolivo's announcement that he was to leave the club for AC Milan.
