According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan boss Leonardo would have left Ronaldinho out of his starting XI yesterday had the Serie A clash with Fiorentina not been postponed due to bad weather.
Leonardo had hinted during the pre-match press conference that the former Barcelona man was struggling with fitness problems.
But Sky alleges that ‘Leo’ was instead prepared to drop his compatriot after the 29-year-old fell back into old habits this week and stayed out clubbing around Italy’s fashion capital well past the club-imposed curfew.
The game with Fiorentina is now expected to be played on January 27. The Rossoneri will resume training at Milanello after the Christmas holidays on December 28.
