Udinese Won't Man-Mark Ronaldinho - Marino

Udinese coach Pasquale Marino talked about tomorrow night's match against Milan at San Siro.

After enduring a run of five consecutive defeats, Udinese at least avoided defeat last weekend in the home match against Lazio, but they allowed the Biancocelesti to come back from 3-0 down to 3-3, making it feel like yet another defeat.

Tomorrow night they face a daunting trip to face a similarly troubled Milan team, but coach Pasquale Marino is feeling confident.

"Milan are an excellent team, they have a few points more than us and more victories," he said. "But now we want to change things around and get results: we certainly have a chance to do it. I don't think they will be conditioned by the arrival of [David] Beckham.

"Ronaldinho? We will have to be careful not to give him any space, but we can't change our phisionomy."

On what's needed to get a result against the Rossoneri, the coach said: "We don't just have to limit them, but also develop our play well. If we allow them to play they will become difficult to contain, so we have to do well in both phases. If we allow them to attack it will be difficult to resist for ninety minutes, so we have to try to play our football. We hope to do well."

Marino said he does not feel insecure in his position: "I'm not worried about me because Udinese are a solid club which knows to handle difficulties. We know we have to work hard to get out of the crisis but I am confident. The fans continue to chant my name now just as much as when we were doing well: I consider that a sign of respect."

The Friulani are currently in 11th place with 22 points, while Milan are fourth on goal difference with 30 points. They will also be looking for revenge after a 4-2 defeat to Juventus last week, that virtually ended their Scudetto hopes as they are now nine points behind leaders Inter.
