Terlizzi And Tedesco Back For Catania
Catania have more good news to report after their impressive win against Atalanta on Saturday, as two players have recovered from injury

Catania began this game on
three points, determined to topple the league leaders Atalanta. The
Bergamasci have had the best of starts to the 2008/2009 season, winning
both of their games to top Serie A tied with Lazio on 6 points. If they
were expecting a win in this one to make it three out of three then
they were sorely mistaken. Catania are no push over at home and they
proved this again against the Nerazzurri, beating them 1-0 with a low drive from Michele Paolucci.
The result brings Catania to six points; tie with Atalanta.
The team has quickly returned
to training after yesterday’s win and two players have returned after
being forced to miss the Atalanta game. Christian Terlizzi and Giacomo
Tedesco were seen training with the team, and so it is safe to say that
they have recovered from the flu and back pain that were the causes
of their temporary absence from the squad.
The team is looking more compact
and dangerous under coach Walter Zenga, who came in at the end of the
last season to save the Sicilians from relegation. The return of Tedesco
and Terlizzi gives the coach more options and adds depth to the squad.
