Barcelona To Red Star Belgrade: Forget About Bojan!

Bojan may not be playing as many minutes as last season, but Pep Guardiola still considers him a valuable member of the team...

Despite not giving Bojan Krkic much playing time this season, Joan Laporta has no intention to see him leave the club, not even on loan.

The latest club to show an interest in acquiring the youngster on loan are Red Star Belgrade (also known as FK Crvena Zvezda). Given Bojan's Serbian roots, the club believe the striker would be a hit. Indeed, Barcelona's popularity in the country has risen sharply since Bojan's rise to prominence.

Any deal, however, looks highly unlikely to happen. The club has already made two approaches to Barca, but they were told that Pep Guardiola needs Bojan for the intense climax to the season.
