Sergio Almiron joined Juventus last season, hoping to have the same influence he had at Empoli, but that was not the case.

At the beginning of the current campaign, the player was loaned to Fiorentina. However, he has once again failed to settle and now it seems he may be on his way out of the club.

Recent reports have linked the player with Bologna, although his agent insists he has not heard anything to confirm that a move to the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara is in the works.

"There is no news regarding Almiron," said the Argentine's agent, Claudio Vagheggi, to Violanews.it. "Bologna? I don't know if there is an agreement between the clubs. No one has told me anything about it."

Almiron was left out of the squad altogether for Fiorentina's recent 1-0 loss to Milan and does not seem to have the confidence of coach, Cesare Prandelli.

"Regarding his non-convocation on Saturday, you must ask the coach of Fiorentina about this," he suggested. "I can only say that the situation is the same as last week and what people have been saying in recent days [with regards to Almiron's transfer] is not true."

The 28-year-old has made just nine league appearances for the Viola this season, many of which have been disappointing displays.
