Fiorentina defender Manuel Da Costa has been unsettled at the Viola this season, and his relationship with coach Cesare Prandelli seems to be to blame.

It seems certain that the 22-year-old will leave Fiorentina in the transfer window, but his destination is not yet set in stone, as he has been linked to numerous clubs throughout the continent.

French heavyweights Marseille are interested in the youngster, as are a handful of other French clubs and one or two English Premier League teams.

Recently Juventus joined the hunt for his signature, and the list seems to grow by the day with rumours of interest from Inter Milan and Roma also making the rounds.

The Portuguese centre-back, who arrived in Italy from PSV Eindhoven a year ago, may see the transfer window as his chance to escape from the Viola and find himself a permanent place at the back for another team.

In a recent interview with Firenzeviola.it, club-mate Alessandro Gamberini commented on his colleague's anticipated move away from Florence.

“He is a player with great potential, I would be disappointed to lose him, as I would any of my team-mates. I don't like to talk about the market, but if someone does not have the right motivation, it is only right to let them move,” said the Italian defender.
