There hasn't been much to smile about for Fiorentina lately as they have won just one of their last four matches while being rooted to mid-table.

However, the Viola will be boosted by the return of some of their injured for the upcoming match against Udinese, including Romanian international Adrian Mutu.

The former Parma player has not featured since the 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League as he suffered an injury to his adductor muscle, but he is likely to be available for the match against Pasquale Marino's side at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this weekend.

The Romanian has been suffering from various injuries all season, but is a key member of coach Cesare Prandelli's plans and a fan favourite, therefore his fitness is vital to Fiorentina.

Also returning will be Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Zdravko Kuzmanovic. The 21-year-old Serbian midfielder was taken off at half-time in the 1-0 loss to Cagliari and diagnosed with a contusion to his jaw, but both young players will recover in time to face the Zebrette.

The sides are extremely close in the standings, with Udinese on 21 points while Fiorentina are just a single point behind.
