Prandelli: We Are Not Ready For The Scudetto
Fiorentina coach, Cesare Prandelli, believes his side are not amongst the favourites to win the Scudetto. The coach seems to be taking a step backwards following La Viola's impressive campaign last term

The
former Parma
coach steered his side into the Champions League places last season and he has
made a number of excellent signings over the summer.
His actions have signalled his intent to challenge for major honours but his words seem to give another impression.
Prandelli doesn’t think his team is ready to win the Scudetto and he has taken a swipe at the big four. The former Juventino believes all the talk about La Viola winning the league will only add unnecessary pressure on his side.
“We are not ready for the Scudetto,” said Prandelli.
“Saying Fiorentina are amongst the favourites is just a game invented by the big clubs to add pressure on us.
“We are not scared by this scenario as we will let out our tension on the other teams in the league so we cause them problems as well.”
The war of words and mind games have already started to fly around with over a month to go until the Serie A championship kick’s off.
