The England Under-21 international scored the only goal in a tight encounter against a resilient NEC side that lifted Tottenham to the top of Group D and one step closer to the next stage, so naturally his confidence is sky high.
"Everton's always tough, but if we go out there with the confidence we've been showing of late, the three points are there for us to take," he told the club's official website ahead of this weekend's trip to Merseyside.
"Everything's been fantastic of late, bar the one slip-up against Fulham, and we are capable of being up where Everton are at the moment.
"If we can just keep the ball rolling, nothing can stop us - we look fantastic as a team and as a squad.
"It's good to get goals and I thought I had chances to score more last night," he added.
"Spurs is such a big club with a fantastic squad that you've got to be patient sometimes, but when you get your chance, you've got to show the manager you're capable of playing to keep yourself in there.
"But I like that role the manager gave me because it gives me a little bit more freedom in midfield to make those late runs into the box and get yourself on the end of things."
