The former Blaugrana star
moved to White Hart Lane
in a deal thought to be worth around £8.6m after Ramos convinced him with
promises that Spurs would be fighting for major honours this season, as well a
top four finish.
Dos Santos can’t wait to get started and neither can Ramos.
“I love Tottenham's plans, they are very ambitious,” Dos Santos told The Sun.
“I know Juande Ramos and of all the offers I had, this was the most challenging from a sporting point of view.”
Ramos on the other hand has explained his decision to sign the player and he reveals Dos Santos has a bright future ahead with Spurs.
“Yes, I believe that he will excel and become a greater player than what he is now,” said Ramos.
“He has plenty to look forward to and for us he is a brilliant signing as he has great qualities and he can adapt to play in many positions. Above all, he has superb technical abilities.
“He will definitely enrich this side as he offers something different especially when playing attacking football.
“His youth gives us the possibilities to see all his potential materialise into making him an excellent footballer.”
Tottenham have been no match for bitter North London rivals Arsenal in recent years and Ramos is currently adding reinforcements so his side can challenge next term.
Spurs won the League Cup this season after dramatically coming from behind to beat Chelsea in the final.
