The 26-year-old underwent tests yesterday and it was confirmed that he suffered a muscular problem in his right thigh and will sit out at least the next two Serie A meetings.
It’s a big blow for the Aquile who have lost four games on the trot and have dropped to 11th place in the standings.
Coach Delio Rossi’s men will now face a crucial test against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
