Lazio director of sports Igli Tare explained how the transition from player to director was a smooth one, and that in the end he was pleased with the decision he took.
"I think that these six months have been positive," explained the former Brescia player to the Corriere dello Sport.
"At first it was all strange for me, as I was coming from the pitch and the impact with my new reality was not simple.
"In the first few months I wanted to move behind the scenes, to get used to this and to study, and in the end, this was something I had always thought about when I was a player.
"Today I can say that I took the right decision."
Tare then spoke about the upcoming transfer window and how the Biancocelesti will try to purchase an important player in January.
"We will make a purchase if it will be a player who will bring something more," he continued.
"I'm talking in general about a player who can improve the Lazio potential."
Tare joined Lazio in 2005, where he played 51 games and scored four goals for the club.
