Edmilson Cribari has been in-and-out of the Lazio line-up since joining in 2005. Recently, there have been rumours that he could be tempted to move to the Russian league for a bigger pay cheque. His agent, Davide Torchia has now put those rumours to rest.
"I've been reading in newspapers about the possible departure of Cribari," he told Lalaziosiamonoi.it. "However, I want to clarify some things.
"First, Cribari has never asked to leave Lazio. Indeed, Emilson is happy here and hopes to extend his contract, staying in this jersey for a long time."
The agent continued, specifically denying that his client was on his way to Russia. "I can personally say that there are no negotiations occurring right now. Lokomotiv (Moscow)? No one from there has called me."
Cribari has made six league appearances for the Biancocelesti so far this season.
