The Macedonian international over-did it while playing a mini-game as coach Delio Rossi tried out various formations for Sunday.
The extent of his injury is still unknown but he will have to undergo a scan at Formello on Thursday morning to analyse the strain.
Pandev is now looking doubtful for the clash against the Orobici and it's highly likely that he will have to sit it out.
On a brighter note, Mauro Zarate will be back and ready for action after his injury. The player had a muscular problem but he has managed to shake that off this week and will be available for selection.
The Biancocelsti have slipped up in their last two games, losing at home to Roma and then drawing with Genoa.
President Claudio Lotito was at the training ground on Tuesday to clarify the current situation and tell his players to begin pulling their fingers out.
Lazio will be hoping for points against the Bergamaschi as they are seven behind the league leaders.
