A number of potential employers have emerged for the duo. Until now, though, it seemed that they would go their separate ways. However, recent reports suggest that they may both move to Rome to join coach Delio Rossi's Lazio.
European teams have shown their interest in 24-year-old Senegalese star Papa Waigo throughout the season, with enquiries arriving from around the continent regarding his availability. Reggina, Lecce and Chievo have demonstrated their interest in the player, but nothing official has been agreed.
Fiorentina left sided defender Pasqual is virtually certain to leave the Viola at the end of the year, with Reggina and Napoli both gunning for his signature. The defender has been unsettled at the Tuscan club for quite some time and it is believed that he sees January as the moment to make his escape from Cesare Prandelli's squad.
Napoli and Reggina have both been mentioned in the same breath as the Italian defender, but now the Biancocelesti have entered the picture. According to La Nazione, Lazio are now considered the front runners to land both their signatures in the transfer window.
Fiorentina president Pantaleo Corvino seems keen to make money off the sale of both players, but Lazio would prefer to get the pair on loan. The potential move might be made easier thanks to a good relationship between the delegates of the two clubs.
