The duo are growing increasingly frustrated at their lack of first team opportunities at the Stadio Olimpico and will likely ask to move on during the winter session of the Calciomercato.
The Brazilian was not even called up for the home match against Catania last weekend and coach Delio Rossi admitted his decision was not down to a physical problem, but rather a ‘technical choice’.
The thing is that that the Laziali can ill afford to freeze out the 26-year-old, as beside the central defensive couple of David Rozehnal and Sebastiano Siviglia, Rossi can count only on youngster Mobido Diakhité at centre-back.
Nonetheless, the Aquile could opt to send Cribari out on loan in the new year and then decide his future next summer.
According to newspaper Il Messaggero several clubs in Greece, Turkey and Germany have shown an interest in his services, but Serie A sides Palermo and Sampdoria are also tracking the Brazilian.
As for Makinwa, he has clearly struggled to get much playing time so far, due to the phenomenal array of strikers at Rossi’s disposal, and the former Palermo man could relocate to Spain, as Mallorca and Malaga are keeping tabs on him.
