Lazio Dealt Matuzalem Blow
Lazio midfielder Francelino Matuzalem seemed almost ready to retake the Aquile midfield reins next week, but pulled up with a calf problem yesterday.

The Brazilian midfielder returned to Serie A this summer on a season loan from Spanish outfit Real Zaragoza, but has had few chances to shine thus far.
After putting in impressive performances in the early stages of the campaign, he last played in the 4-1 drubbing by Milan at San Siro last September, but has been hindered by niggling problems ever since.
However, he was said to be in the frame to make the trip to Bologna next weekend to take on the embattled Felsinei at the Stadio Dall'Ara.
But the former Napoli and Parma player pulled up during a friendly game played against Atletico Trivento at the Formello's training complex yesterday. The 28-year-old felt a pain in the left leg calf area and immediately left the pitch.
He was then walked to the dressing room, but the Aquile doctors have stated that he will need to rest for a couple of days, before undergoing thorough medical tests to determine the extent of the injury.
Hence, it is too early to speculate about his presence at the Dall'Ara next Sunday, where the Biancocelesti will hope to confirm their excellent start to the season and maintain their early leadership in the standings.
