The Aquilotti are flying high on top of Serie A and their is real belief at Formello that the team can challenge for the Scudetto and cause a massive shock in the process.
Rossi is pleased with the success thus far this term and he is hoping the good times continue.
"We have to compete on all fronts and fight for everything," said the coach.
"I am still a little upset for what happened last year but that's football."
The coach then spoke about the Coppa Italia game against Atalanta on Wednesday night.
"We want to do well but Atalanta are a good side and Gigi Del Neri is an excellent coach. It will be a difficult game for us."
Lazio will be hoping to do well in both the Coppa and the league as they attempt to return back to the pinnacle of the game.
