Sevilla Must Focus On Winning - Lautaro Acosta
Los Nervionenses’ Argentine forward has stressed the need for the team to concentrate solely on winning instead of playing sexy football.

Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez has methodically dispensed of the team’s eye-candy attacking football introduced by his predecessor Juande Ramos, instead opting for a more balanced and conventional style of play.
While this has attracted some criticism, no one at the team appears to be complaining. If anything, they are encouraging it more and more as it has brought the desired effect.
With the team currently lying second in the league – albeit 10 points behind leaders
“The most important thing a football team must consider is winning,” he was quoted as saying by Marca.
“We always go for the victory but we also value how we play. But it is necessary to win first, and later we can determine how to play better and give a better image of ourselves.”
The versatile 20-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or a second striker, is currently sideline with an ankle injury. However, he has revealed that he could be back in action once the league resumes in the new year.
And he was also quick to outline his ambitions: “I want to play and win everything, and to do it with Sevilla will be a great pleasure.
“That’s why the goal is always to win first and later if it’s possible, I’ll start playing beautifully.”
