Bayer Leverkusen are ready to splash out to secure the services of in-demand Hamburg attacker Hakan Calhanoglu - who is keen on a move to the BayArena.

The Turkey international enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Imtech Arena, scoring 11 goals in 32 games to keep Mirko Slomka's side in the Bundesliga.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old, but the player himself is keen on a move to Leverkusen.

The club are ready to bid up to €15 milllion for the former Karlsruher man, who has already instructed his family to look for a house in the area.

Calhanoglu only moved to Hamburg in 2012 but admitted after his side's 1-1 relegation playoff draw with Greuther Furth that he was keen on a move to a Champions League club.

"Every footballer wants to play in the Champions League," he said. "This is my dream and I hope the club fulfills it."

Hamburg were hopeful of keeping Calhanoglu at the club but accept that they have to sell of star assets this summer to pay off debts.
