Inter have secured the services of Tigre midfielder Ruben Botta on a five-year deal, Serie A beating rivals such as Roma and Juventus to the 23-year-old's signature, can reveal.

The Nerazzurri are keen to add some fresh blood to their ranks in the summer transfer window and sporting director Marco Branca sees the Argentine as a useful addition to their squad.

Inter had been monitoring the versatile midfielder since June 2012 and decided to step up their interest this winter after they found out Botta had no intention to renew his contract with his current club.

Juventus and Roma, as well as Boca Juniors, had also shown an interest in signing the attacking midfielder, but he has opted to move to Inter instead after a number of meetings with the Giuseppe Meazza side.

He is expected to get an Italian passport in the upcoming weeks, and is scheduled to undergo a medical at the end of May before completing his transfer.

Botta is a product of the Boca youth academy, but eventually joined Tigre before making his first-team debut with the Matadores.

Inter have also secured the services of Botta's younger brother, Joan, a promising midfielder born in 1997.
