Aguero set for Manchester City return against Fulham
The Argentine has been absent for almost three weeks since hobbling off against Stoke on New Year's Day, but has been given the all-clear to return against the Cottagers
EXCLUSIVEBy Liam Twomey
Sergio Aguero is set to make his return for Manchester City in Saturday’s Premier League clash with Fulham, Goal.com can reveal.
Aguero has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since limping out of City’s 3-0 win over Stoke at the Etihad Stadium on New Year's Day.
The Argentine missed his side’s FA Cup third round win over Watford as a result, though it was initially hoped he would be fit to participate in Sunday’s crunch clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
But prior to kick-off boss Roberto Mancini revealed his star man would not be risked against the Gunners, with City nevertheless emerging 2-0 victors thanks to goals from James Milner and Edin Dzeko.
Aguero last week underwent intensive treatment in Italy for the injury but has since rejoined his team-mates, who have been training indoors to escape the cold weather.
And City’s medical department have now given the 24-year-old the all-clear to appear against the Cottagers, handing Mancini a timely boost as he looks to chase down title rivals Manchester United.

However, former Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld says it doesn't matter when Dortmund arrive, they're still not going to lift the Champions League tonight: "Bayern has to win the title; it's just their time. They won't let a third final in four years slip away from them."
"I've just had a chat with a man called Helmut. As you will see from the photo, Helmut arrived here by bicycle ... He said: 'It took me 10 days. I didn't see the sun once: it was raining, powerful winds, horrible, but I made it. I rode 554 miles to get here but ... I don't have a ticket.'
"Ouch! I feel for Helmut, he looks absolutely drained and I reckon he was relying on the gift of charity as his way in, but alas it is yet to find him."
