Narsingh relieved with PSV's victory over Twente

The Netherlands international praised his fellow attackers for their goals which helped propel the Eindhoven-based side to the top of the Eredivisie after 16 matches

PSV attacker Luciano Narsingh has revealed his relief after two late goals allowed them to ease to past Twente 3-0 on Sunday.

Steve McClaren's side were 1-0 down with 10 minutes left, but Tim Matavz's goal was followed by Narsingh's and propelled them back to the top of the Eredevisie.

"I thought [we might concede] at any given moment," he admitted to Goal.com. "Nothing was going in. But at some point we had to score a second, and I had the confidence that we would be fine, because we played good football at times."

Despite being without Mark Van Bommel and Dries Mertens, PSV were still able to dispatch one of the teams that are battling for supremacy this season in the league.

"We have coped well," Narsingh added. "We missed our leader, Dries, and his threat. But I think we have a good frontman in Matavz, myself and [Jeremain] Lens.

"That's a real striker," the Netherlands international said of Matavz, who took his opportunity with 10 minutes to go.

"He was waiting for his chance and he eventually got it and scored it."

PSV sit two points ahead of Vitesse and Twente in the Eredivisie, with reigning champions Ajax one point further back on 33.
