Bacary Sagna is also set to be restored to the starting line-up after being rested, along with Wilshere and Vermaelen, from the team that drew 0-0 at Aston Villa last Saturday.
But Goal.com understands that manager Wenger is considering resting Lukas Podolski for the crunch fixture at Goodison Park.
The wide forward has started all 18 of Arsenal’s Premier League and Champions League fixtures this season.

Podolski’s fellow German Per Mertesacker has a slight shoulder niggle but should be fit to start in central defence alongside Laurent Koscielny.
Wenger was due to make a final decision on Podolski and Mertesacker on Wednesday morning.
If Podolski makes the starting XI, the four players set to be omitted are Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
England international Oxlade-Chamberlain will keep his place, but make room for Walcott on the right flank, if Podolski misses out.
Arsenal are keen not to heap too much pressure on first-choice left-back Gibbs, who played the full 90 minutes at Villa Park in his first start in seven weeks.
