Porto winger James Rodriguez will not be leaving the club in January but his situation will be reassessed in the summer, according to his agent Bruno Carpeggiani
The 20-year-old has impressed since moving to the Estadio do Dragao back in July 2010, and has been linked with a move to big clubs in Spain, Italy and England.
However, the South American's agent has refuted claims that the youngster could leave the Europa League holders in the new year.
"The young Colombian winger is very talented," he exclusively told Goal.com.
"Many teams like him but he will not move in January, if he does leave Porto it will be in June."
Carpeggiani went on to admit that it could be a busy transfer window elsewhere.
"From what we read in the newspapers these days we are expecting a busy winter market.
"Roma are looking for a central defender to replace Nicolas Burdisso after his injury, Milan need to compensate for the absence of [Antonio] Cassano, Fiorentina will do something, Juventus are probing the foreign market. I think we will see some major moves," he concluded.
