Goal.com Meets... AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam
Launch of series as Goal.com meets the key decision-makers…
Goal.com is delighted to introduce a series of interviews which will be used to bring the global community connected with the game even closer, beginning with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Mohammed Bin Hammam.‘Goal.com Meets…’ will present a host of interviewees who can directly or indirectly influence the future of football, with each led by Goal.com Chairman and President, Gianluigi Longinotti-Buitoni.
As the world’s largest new media football company, Goal.com is uniquely placed to bridge the gap between the fans, the players, the managers, the owners and the other figures of power who can inspire an upward trajectory for the beautiful game.
The first in this series saw Goal.com travel to Malaysia and to the headquarters of the AFC to discuss football in Asia, discussing topics such as the progress of the game in the region, the proposition of overseas leagues playing fixtures there, as well as President Bin Hammam’s decisions since taking office.
In the lead up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Goal.com will sit down with other high-profile figures from within football to bring fans around the world closer to the game.
“Football is a truly global way of connecting cultures and communities around the world, and we introduce this series with the aim of discussing with each of the figures who can help realize the dreams of millions how they will do it, and what progress they have already made,” Longinotti-Buitoni said.
