Juventus suffered a friendly penalty shoot-out defeat to Monaco in Messina on Tuesday, but coach Claudio Ranieri was nonetheless satisfied with that he saw from his side.
The Bianconeri conceded very few chances to their opponents and managed to score a late equalizer through Vincenzo Iaquinta, cancelling out an Ivan Leko spot-kick.
"Today, my concern was that no one was doing badly and everyone was in good shape," said the former Chelsea coach.
"My eyes were on those returning from injuries. [Christian] Poulsen, [Cristiano] Zanetti, and [Hasan] Salihamidzic did well, even if they aren't at the same level as the others yet."
Serie A resumes this weekend, following their three week winter break, and Claudio Ranieri's men will host Siena in Turin.
"In general, I thought this was a good test for us ahead of the match on Sunday against Siena," he explained. "They are an adversary who is playing well and will cause us to sweat quite abit."
Juventus sit in second place in the league, six points behind first-placed Inter. Meanwhile, Siena are having a solid season and are five points above the relegation zone.
