Claudio Ranieri will bring the Bianconeri to his old club Chelsea,
out to prove his former boss wrong; the Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, for
axing him four years ago.
The teams meet in the last 16 of Europe’s top club competition, and Juve look the better side, knowing that The Pensioners home run has been nothing short of disastrous, this season.
If that form continues, La Vecchia Signora may be looking at a prosperous two-legged affair that could send them through to the quarter-finals.
Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli commented on the upcoming match. “In the Champions League the match against Chelsea will be the game of the year. I’m hoping to see the same Juventus that gave me such immense joy against Real Madrid,” said the birthday-boy.
