After a shaky start to the 2008/09 campaign, Juventus have bounced back remarkably to fight their way into the title race.
They are currently second in the Serie A standings, albeit a full six points behind run-away leaders, Inter Milan but defender, Cristian Molinaro is optimistic about his side’s chances of pipping the Nerazzurri to the league crown come the end of the season.
“If we have the right determination, we can beat anyone and this is the mentality we need to help us get to first place in the table,” he was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
“We must always play like we did in
“It wasn’t easy at all for us to beat them because they are a side who play good football.
“We struggled at the start of the first and second halves, but we were lucky enough to take the lead and hold on to the result,” he explained.
Juventus beat Atalanta 3-1 last weekend with goals from Alessandro Del Piero and Nicola Legrottaglie in the first period and the third from Amauri after Christian Vieri had pulled one back for the hosts.
