However, it was not an easy game for the Old Lady, whose first goal was marred by controversy due to the evident offside position of Marco Marchionni.
"It wasn't easy, actually it was difficult because they play well," declared the Italian full-back at the end of the game.
"In the first ten minutes of the first half and the second half, they put us in difficulty, but luckily we opened the score straight away and then held the result.
"We must continue playing like today, except for the first ten minutes. With the right determination we know that we can beat anyone and this is the trigger which must push us to reach the league leaders."
The 25-year-old player has been at Juve since last season, with whom he already made already 45 appearances.
