Juventus are looking to take full advantage of the William Gallas debacle at Arsenal and prise the player away from north London and towards northern Italy.

The French defender seems as if he has reached the point of no return with the Gunners and a January exit is on the cards. The former Chelsea man has already been linked with Milan, but reports in England and Italy have him down on Juve's hit-list.

Sportmediaset claims Gallas is keen to join up with former coach Claudio Ranieri. It was 'the Tinkerman' who introduced the 31-year-old to Premier League football with the Blues back in 2001.

In 2006, the Frenchman joined Arsenal after a five year spell with Chelsea but his time with Arsene Wenger could be about to end. Ranieri needs defenders at Juve and the Old Lady has promised reinforcements during the winter transfer window.

With Gallas on the plank, the Bianconeri are ready to rescue him with a chance to move to Serie A. The Scudetto and Champions League are top priority at Vinovo this season and the former Chelsea man has plenty of experience when it comes to winning silverware at the highest levels.

Ranieri is likely to consider his options and make a bid next month.
