Juventus have already made a back-up plan if they miss out on Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The Old Lady has looked across to Spain.Valencia's 20-year-old sensation Juan Mata is being touted as a potential target for the January transfer window. And Joaquin is also on the hit-list.

The Italians are looking at some replacements for Pavel Nedved, as the Czech star is likely to hang his boots up at the end of the season, and the Bianconeri do not want to miss out on a good deal.

Schweinsteiger could arrive for free but if that fails, Juve have another plan up their sleeves.

Valencia are not in the best situation financially and Juventus have offered to help them out this Christmas by offering cash for players.

Tuttosport claims the Italians are ready to launch a mega bid for both players. A €15 million transfer for Mata as well as a €20m deal for Joaquin seems on the cards.

The Bianconeri's directors have said in the past that they will be strengthening during the winter transfer window.

However, the deal for both Los Che players all depends on whether or not 'Schweini' arrives from Germany.
