Yesterday the ambitious plans for Juventus' luxurious new stadium were presented, and undoubtedly some fans will have asked themselves whether the costs of this will influence the club's future transfer campaigns.
General manager Jean-Claude Blanc reassured the fans on this issue, saying that "the club will not save money in the transfer market. If Juve took this decision, it's because we had the certainty that we could finance this project without it influencing on our investments on players."
Although the new stadium will only be ready for the 2011/2012 season, Blanc does not think it will take that long for the club to celebrate its next major victory.
"We want to win before that, that is our principal objective, our greatest desire," the Frenchman added.
Juve are currently on a run of seven consecutive victories, and travel to San Siro to face reigning Italian champions Inter in a mouth-watering Derby of Italy.
