The midfielder was training with the rest of the team this afternoon after making his return from a previous injury.

However, any chance of seeing him in action against Inter have gone up in smoke.

The Danish star had to abandon the pitch at Vinovo with an injury to his right leg.

The latest reports suggest he has strained a muscle and he is unlikely to play against the Nerazzurri.

Poulsen was playing in a mini game against the youth team but he was forced off just 20 minutes into the match.

The midfielder has been great for his side this season, and to have him out so soon after he returned to training on Monday is a major cause of distress for coach Claudio Ranieri.

Furthermore, a number of players are on international duty and Tiago will arrive back from Brazil on Saturday. The Juve man is involved with Portugal in their friendly with the Selecao and he may not be ready in time.
