The Bianconeri travel across to Milan on Saturday night to try and close the three point gap on the league leaders.
Sissoko is keen on glory and he has already laid down the challenge for his side.
With no international duty for him, the Malian midfielder has been training hard all week at Vinovo.
The former Liverpool man is well aware of the importance of the game and he cannot wait to flex his muscles around the middle of the San Siro pitch.
"It's always nice to feel the support of the fans. Some of them have even asked me to make sure we beat Inter and that I score a goal," Sissoko told the club's official website.
"I am feeling this game more than last year because we are right up there challenging this season and I am sure it will be a special derby.
"I played for Liverpool against Manchester United and that game had a different importance compared to the derby against Everton.
"It's the same thing in Italy. I am more excited about playing Inter than the games against Torino.
"We go into the game with a positive attitude and everyone is fired up for the game.
"It has always been special but the teams are equal this year so we want it more.
"Our objective is to do well against them and I am sure our players will make the difference."
Juve beat the Nerazzurri at San Siro 2-1 last season.
Inter have not won at home against Juve in four years. They have only ever beaten the Turin based side twice at home in the last ten seasons.
The first was in 1998 and then in 2004.
