Alessandro Del Piero was a protagonist on the field once again on Sunday as Juventus prevailed 2-0 against Chievo at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona. The player opened the scoring with a superb free-kick, his fifth set-piece goal in all competitions this season.

Del Piero has been considered a set-piece specialist for most of his career and spoke about free-kick situations.

"(Chievo goalkeeper Stefano) Sorrentino had quite the wall, but, I always play my football based on the sensations I'm feeling," he explained. "Perhaps that is why this year, my strikes have been different."

Del Piero then revealed his philosophy about taking set-pieces: "In reality there are many ways to strike a free-kick. The important thing is it goes in."

The 2006 World Cup winner's next chance to shine in Serie A will be against Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin.
