Such a difference in price is due to Stankovic coming from a season full of injuries and also the fact that he will be turning 30 years old in September. However, the player has apparently already reached an agreement with the Bianconeri and therefore the two clubs might meet halfway in order to seal a deal which would make both teams happy.
Inter are in fact trying to sell the player since he has a high salary of 4 million per season until 2011; Juve, for their part, will insist that he takes a pay cut of 1 million.
The general idea is that a deal will be sealed around 10 million Euros, even though it might take more than a few days before an agreement is reached.
Stankovic himself is said to be extremely eager for the deal to go through as soon as possible.
