According to the latest transfer speculation, Bayern Munich are considering making a move for Chelsea winger Florent Malouda once the transfer window officially reopens in January.
Jose Mourinho was responsible for bringing the Frenchman to Chelsea in 2007; however, since the manager's departure to Inter, the 28-year-old has had a relatively tough time in London.
The ex-Lyon star has gone on record as saying that he wishes to remain at Stamford Bridge, and thus honour his four-year contract. However, the midfielder may be enticed by the prospect of teaming up with Franck Ribery as well as making the best case for himself leading up to the 2010 World Cup.
The record German champions have been linked with Malouda on and off since his Lyon days, and there are now rumours that they are putting together an £8 million bid.
