Hoeness: Donovan In, And That’s It
Bayern Munich manager Uli Hoeness has revealed that the loan arrival of American Landon Donovan will be the only piece of business the club does this season, and has ruled out any other transfer window signings.

"We have sat down this week and decided that we will not be signing or selling anybody this winter, as it stands today," Bayern Munich manager Uli Hoeness told the Suddeutsche Zeitung.
The admission, if true, means that neither Anatoli Tymoschuk, Andrei Arshavin nor Mario Gomez will be arriving at the Allianz Arena this season, contrary to some media reports.
The sale of Lukas Podolski has also therefore been ruled out.
The confession from the Bayern boss has also poured cold water on Bild reports that teenager Toni Kroos was to join Chelsea on loan in the January transfer window.
Hoeness explained that any talk of a move was all down to Kroos and that the Bavarian giants have no intention of letting him go.
