The Borussia Dortmund attacker has been left out of Paraguay's starting XI for the decisive clash against Uruguay after some poor performances in the tournamentParaguay coach Gerardo Martino has decided not to include striker Lucas Barrios in his starting XI for the Copa America final against Uruguay as he looks to push for glory.
Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios has been replaced by Olimpia's Pablo Zeballos in the Paraguay line-up after failing to impress in recent matches for the Copa America final against Uruguay.
For Paraguay, the only two unavailable players are Roque Santa Cruz, who has been deemed unfit for the match due to a hamstring injury, and Jonathan Santana, who picked up a red card in the semi-final against Venezuela.
On Uruguay's side, Edinson Cavani will begin the match on the bench. The Napoli striker was in doubt for the clash after sustaining a knee injury which ruled him out of the team's last two clashes, against Argentina and Peru.
Despite Cavani announcing he had recovered in time for the encounter, Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has decided against giving him a starting XI place, perhaps due to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis' warning he would file charges against Uruguay if the striker was rushed back into action. Thus star duo Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez will continue up front.

Paraguay (5-3-2): Villar; Da Silva, Veron, Piris, Marecos, Caceres; Vera, Ortigoza, Riveros; Haedon, Zeballos
