The Hercules attacker is eagerly anticipating the showpiece clash in Buenos Aires and has underlined the importance of the game for his national side
The Hercules attacker, who netted once in his side's 2-2 draw against Brazil in the group stage, has made it clear that it will be 'all or nothing' for the Paraguayans as they are aiming to win their first Copa America since 1979.
"We are tranquil and anxious ahead of the game. I can not deny that I have thought about this match a lot. It will be all or nothing for us," Valdez was quoted as saying by 780 AM.
"We have to give our utmost to get a good result. We will have to work very hard for the full 90 minutes of even 120 minutes if that's what it takes. We are hopeful of winning the match and will play with our heart."
Paraguay recorded draws against Ecuador, Brazil and Venezuela in the group stages before beating Brazil and Venezuela after penalties in the knock-out rounds.
