Juan Iturbe's agent 'sad' at Europa League squad exclusion

The South American forward, dubbed the 'new Messi', has apparently grown frustrated at his lack of opportunities since joining the Portuguese champions in the summer
The agent of Porto attacker Juan Iturbe has voiced his dismay at the player being left of the club's Europa League squad.

The 18-year-old has found himself on the fringes of the action at the Estadio do Dragao, making just five competitive appearances since signing for the club in a €4 million deal.

Iturbe did not make the cut in Porto's new squad for the Uefa competition and the player's agent has vowed to question the club about the player's situation.

"I have not yet spoken to Iturbe, but I am sad that he was not registered for the competition," Augusto Paraja told Radio Renascenca.

"He wants to play and shine. I have to talk to him and the club to know what happened."

The Argentina Under-20 international seemingly vented his frustration at the club's decision on Wednesday, writing on his Twitter page that his patience 'had run out', before deleting the message just minutes later.
