Estudiantes midfielder Enzo Perez has admitted that he can't wait for this afternoon's clash against Godoy Cruz, as he prepares to play against his hometown club.

Estudiantes and Godoy are both flying high in the Apertura and remain unbeaten; and Perez affirmed that today's match will pit two of the best teams in Argentina against each other.

"Two of the best teams this year will take each other on," Perez claimed in a club press conference yesterday evening.

"Besides that, both of us try to play the same game with the ball on the ground and sending a lot of men forward when we get it back."

Perez spent five years at Godoy and has fond memories of the Mendocinos, and the 24-year-old is also a cult hero for the 'Tomba' after scoring their first ever goal in the Primera Division in 2006. The midfielder finished by praising his ex-team, and anticipated a good game.

"They kept the base from the previous tournament, and that is great for them. They also bring the fight to everyone, and in this championship, except against Boca, they have been better than all their opponents."
